This is about the trip and information on what’s happening in the church

First when we got there Brother Lee came over and took some of the presents over that night, the Border Guard gave him some problems but in the end let him take them on in. The next morning we loaded half what we had left in his van and took both vans across the border every one was praying for the green light and we got it for both vans.

When we got to the church we found that they had started two new streets past the street where the church is located. We unloaded the presents we had 260 boxes and Brother Lee had between 200-240 that others had sent so every one started dividing them into groups of baby, boy, girl, man and woman. The Church got 1000 hot dogs to feed the people.

The Christmas party was something you would have to see to believe. It started off with the children of the church giving several skits and the youth and some adults joining. There were around 500 kids and probably 150 youth and adults. You could not get in the door and they were standing at the windows and in front of the church. They passed out the presents to the kids but still ran out before every one had one. They ended up giving the adult gifts to the kids so at least they got something. They gave a hotdog with each present and everyone got a hotdog. There was only a few left over and as soon as everyone had one and they said they could have seconds they disappeared fast.
